I been running a games store that carries puzzles, comics, Lego, board games (mainstream and otherwise) and Games Workshop for the last four years.
I spent the five years previous to this job working for Games Workshop.
I spent the eight years before Games Workshop working in a comic store that also focused on media/pop-culture collectibles and role-playing games (I added Games Workshop to their repertoire).
Before the comic store, I worked in a toy store for just over two years.
For the twelve of all those years above, I was always in a band of some sort, all of them small and independent: some never left the basement, others managed touring around the province (and once across the country).
I think it’s pretty safe to surmise that growing up hasn’t been one of my top priorities.
